Warwickshire County Council hereby closes Church Hill, Napton on the Hill to vehicular traffic between its junction with Vicarage Road.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to lay new service from the main in nearside carriageway.
Order Effective from: 29 October 2024.
Anticipated Completion Date: 31 October 2024.
Access & Diversion: An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Vicarage Road, School Hill, The Butts, Howcombe Lane, Hollow Way, Windmill Hill and vice versa. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible.

Warwickshire County Council hereby closes various roads in Napton to vehicular traffic.
Affected roads include: Dog Lane, Priors Marston Road, Butt Hill, Vicarage Road, School Hill, The Butts, Poplar Road, Howcombe Lane, and Pillory Green.
Reason for Order: To safely enable Napton 10K to take place.
Order Effective from: 19 October 2024 – 09:00.
Anticipated Completion Date: 19 October 2024 – 12:00.
Access & Diversion: Emergency access will be maintained at all times.

It has been brought to NPC’s attention that the stretch of road between the Butt Hill junction and the Dog Lane junction has no official name. The motivation to name this stretch of road is to provide clarity across all the various systems and eliminate any potential health and safety issues in the event of an emergency.
Currently this stretch of road is known by many different names, so NPC have decided to seek help from the residents of Napton to name this road.

Guidance for providing your name suggestion:
- one entry per resident
- the consultation will run until midnight on 31/10/24
- NPC will decide at the November PC Meeting
- NPC’s decision will be final

Warwickshire County Council hereby closes Welsh Road East to vehicular traffic from Hodnells Drive down the carriageway for 176.5m. 3 way lights at the start of the works then road closure 09/09/24 – 28/10/24.
Reason for Order: To safely enable works to connect a new sewer and foul, as well as new manholes.
Order Effective from: 2 September 2024.
Anticipated Completion Date: 11 November 2024.
Access & Diversion: An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Welsh Road East, Holt Lane, Chapel Green, Thorntons Lane, New Street, High Street, Hackwell Street, Vicarage Road, Butt Hill, A425 Southam Road and vice versa.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works to build a precast jointing chamber.
Order Effective from: 6 August 2024.
Anticipated Completion Date: 8 August 2024.
Access & Diversion: An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Brickyard Road, Southam Road, Butt Hill, Vicarage Road, Hackwell Street, High Street, New Street, Howcombe Lane, Pillory Green, Poplar Road and vice versa. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible.

Reason for Order: To safely enable works for installation of a new water main and 5 connections.
Order Effective from: 17 June 2024.
Anticipated Completion Date: 16 August 2024.
Access & Diversion: An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Holt Road, Welsh Road East, Priors Marston Road, Welsh Road, Southam Road, The Holloway, Shuckburgh Road, Butt Hill, Vicarage Road, Hackwell Street, High Street, The Crescent, Dog Lane, New Street, Chapel Green Road, Thorntons Lane, Napton Holt Road and vice versa. Reason for Order: To safely enable phased works for the replacement of a water main.
Order Effective from: 28 May 2024.
Anticipated Completion Date: 14 July 2024.
Access & Diversion: An alternative route will be signed as indicated below:
- Butt Hill – Stockton Road, Napton Road, High Street, Southam Road, Southam Bypass, Daventry Road and vice versa.
