PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT CLOSED FOR USE

For the safety of all play area users, the wooden climbing frame at Granton Playing Field and the zip wire at the Skate Park are closed for use until further notice. NPC understand how much the users of these play areas love playing on these items, but this step is necessary to ensure everyone’s well-being.
Why is it closed to use?
The annual safety inspection has flagged up that these two play items require immediate attention to be made safe for use.
We kindly ask parents and caregivers to refrain from allowing children to use the equipment during this time.
The surrounding play equipment remain open for use.
We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to make the play areas safe and enjoyable for everyone again. Updates will be shared as soon as we have more information.
