For the safety of all visitors, the wooden picnic benches at Granton Playing Field are currently out of use.

Following a recent inspection, it was determined that the benches have reached the end of their usable life and now require removal. While we understand how much these benches are valued by the community, this precaution is necessary to ensure everyone’s well-being.

We kindly ask parents and caregivers to avoid using the benches and ensure that children do not climb or play on them during this period.
