Reason for Order: To safely enable continuation of excavation works.

Access & Diversion: An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Thorntons Lane, Napton Holt Road, Holt Road, Welsh Road East, Daventry Road, Southam Road, Butt Hill, Vicarage Road, Hackwell Street, School Hill, High Street, New Street and vice versa. Vehicular access & egress will be maintained where possible.

Safe and Well Check (Home Fire Safety)
As part of Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Services ongoing fire prevention work, they are carrying out a free and valuable service that parishioners may not know about. This service is called a ‘Safe and Well Check’.
These checks include fire safety information to help keep residents safe. If they have smoke detectors, WFRS will check they are working and sited correctly. If not, WFRS will fit new smoke detectors where required Free of Charge.
The areas in which Warwickshire Fire and Rescue have carried out Safe & Well checks have seen a reduction in accidental dwelling fires, and they would like to continue this trend in every parish.

Reason for Order: To enable works on the water main, sewer, and BT cable diversion works on the A425 Southam Road to enable the construction of the new green tunnel, excavating across the carriage way to realign various utilities.
Order Effective from: 23 March 2024.

Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire Road Safety Partners are supporting Sustrans Big Walk and Wheel by offering free Scootability training throughout the county during the Easter holidays, 25th – 29th March.
All training is completely free and will be held at the following locations:
