EMERGENCY CLOSURE OF BUTT HILL AND VICARAGE ROAD, NAPTON ON THE HILL
Warwickshire County Council hereby closes Butt Hill and Vicarage Road, Napton on the Hill:
Reason for Order: To enable emergency works for the installation of new mains and transfer of services to improve pressure.
Order Effective from: 18 February 2023.
Anticipated Completion Date: 26 February 2023.
Access & Diversion: An alternative route will be signed and is available via: Butt Hill, Southam Road, Daventry Road, Welsh Road East, Holt Road, Napton Holt Road, Thorntons Lane, Chapel Green Road, New Street, High Street, Hackwell Street and vice versa. Vehicle access will be maintained where possible.

Surface Dressing Programme 2023

TEMPORARY CLOSURES AND TEMPORARY 10MPH SPEED LIMIT FOR SURFACE DRESSING AND ASSOCIATED WORKS – SOUTH WARWICKSHIRE
Warwickshire County Council has made a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order to close the roads to vehicular traffic and impose a 10mph temporary speed limit as indicated below:
Effect of Order: A425 Daventry Road/Southam Road/Shuckburgh Road/Napton Road
Reason for Order: To facilitate carriageway surface dressing works including the removal and replacement of road studs, pre surface dressing patching, replacement of road markings, sand carpeting and road sweeping.
Order Effective from: 13 February 2023.
Anticipated Completion Date: 27 October 2023. (It is anticipated that each road will be closed for no more than six individual days during this period.)
Access & Diversion: A425, A45, B4429 (Daventry Road, Coventry Road), A426 (Southam Road, Rugby Road), A423 Southam Bypass, A425 Daventry Road and vice versa. Pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of roads to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

Please complete this short survey to help the Parish Council decide how to deal with our street lights in the future.

Severn Trent Public Meeting

Severn Trent Water Supply Public Meeting Friday 30th January 2023

This meeting will explain about works to install a new water main and new pump to improve the water pressure to several properties within the Parish of Napton on the Hill.

The works will start Monday 6th February 2023 and are expected to be completed by May 2023.

The meeting will be held from 5pm-7pm at Napton Village Hall (Jubilee Room).
